The 8th Annual Inter-State Fair and Rodeo Pageant is fast approaching. We invite you to apply for this special competition. The young women selected will have a year to make fun memories, receive many awards and the title of Inter-State Fair and Rodeo Miss, Princess, Little Miss or Sweetheart. This year’s competition will take place on Sunday, August 11th, at the Inter-State Rodeo and Fairground’s. There will be a BBQ dinner fundraiser and auction. Please plan to bring a fun themed basket to be auctioned off! Family and spectators are welcomed and encouraged to attend, the more funds we are able to raise directly increases the amount of prizes we are able to award!

The contest consists of horsemanship, modeling, personal interview, speech, impromptu questions and appearance for the Miss, Princess and Little Miss Divisions. The Sweetheart will be softly judged to help them grow their love for pageants but the overall winner will be based on sales. The overall Sweetheart will be announced Sunday, August 11th at the BBQ dinner. The panel of judges carefully evaluates the contestants, choosing the young women best suited to serve as Inter-State Fair and Rodeo Royalty for the upcoming year. The winning contestants have the opportunity to represent and promotes the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo at several parades, rodeos and other special events throughout Kansas and Oklahoma during their one-year reign as Inter-State Fair and Rodeo Royalty. The parade will be held downtown at 4pm Wednesday, August 14th, contestants need to be ready to ride at 3:30pm. Awards will be announced during the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo on August 14th, all Miss, Princess and Little Miss contestants will need to be present and ready to ride in the grand entry at 7:15pm. Sweetheart contestants are welcome to attend and be introduced before the crowning. The newly crowned royalty will need to be present for night two of the rodeo on August 15th.

In the packet below you will find the complete contestant packet which includes the written application, the pageant expectations, a release waiver, rules and regulations as well as contestant guidelines.

For an application to be complete contestants must submit a written application, signed waiver as well as a 5×7 photograph to the Pageant Chairmen or received in office by July 17, 2024 (Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce – C/O ISFR Pageant – P.O. Box 457 – Coffeyville, KS 67337 or scanned and emailed to [email protected]).
