The 2024 Montgomery County Fair Association is excited to announce the 117th annual Inter-State Fair and Rodeo – AKA the BEST Days of Summer – is scheduled for August 11-17, 2024. The entire association is excited and looking forward to another great year in Coffeyville! Throughout the next several months this group of volunteers will be making facility improvements and ironing out ALL the details of the week-long event.

The Montgomery County Fair Association is a group of 80 volunteers from the 6-county area. It goes without saying that the ISFR is geared towards family fun and entertainment, but the association is dedicated to the area’s youth, education and community involvement. The MCFA also produces events outside the regular fair week that brings people to Coffeyville to utilize our facilities.

This year’s grandstand events will include the LJ Jenkins Bull Riding on Tuesday, August 13, two nights of PRCA Rodeo complete with an exciting specialty act – Wednesday, August 14 and Thursday, August 15. Friday night will feature Freestyle Motocross followed by the ever-popular Demolition Derby to round out the week on Saturday, August 17.

The 4-H kids and their livestock exhibits will roll in on Monday and fill up the barns! Livestock projects will be on display in their pens and shows are scheduled throughout the week. Their week will end with the Junior Market Livestock Sale at 5pm on Friday, August 16. The 4-H exhibits will also be on display in the Rec Building and YOU can purchase the “Best of the Best” at the annual bake sale, Monday, August 12 at 6pm at the Rec Building.

The ISFR Royalty pageant will also be held during fair week with a Rodeo Pageant BBQ Dinner Fundraiser and Auction on Sunday, August 11.  Flags will fly during the ISFR Rodeo Parade and the park will be full for the Bean and Watermelon Feeds on Wednesday, August 14. To round out the evening, the 2024 ISFR Royalty will be crowned during the PRCA Performance.

That brings us to the Midway. Food trucks and vendors will line the streets and fill the park the entire week. Vendor space is available and we are always looking for new businesses to share their products and information. The Wee Entertainment carnival will be on site from Tuesday, August 14 to Saturday, August 17. From pony rides to funnel cakes, the midway has something for everyone.

As you can tell, the week is FULL of activities. But this fun-filled week would not be possible without our sponsors.
